世界最高額の4億円腕時計をウブロが発表
スイスで開催中の世界最大の時計ショー、バーゼルワールドで、ウブロ（Hublot）が世界最高額となる500万ドル （約4億1260万円）の腕時計を公開する。一足先に報道陣に公開された。 この腕時計は、ダイヤモンド1282個を使用し、合計で140カラット以上になる。さらに、17人のウブロ職人が、
完成まで掛かりきりで14カ月の時間を費やしたのだという。それでも購入に意欲を見せている人がすでにいるのだという。 超高額腕時計としては、フランク・ミュラーが発表している「エテルニタス メガ4」で2億6250万円などがある。

The world's most expensive wrist watch, encrusted with 1,282 diamonds, was unveiled by Swiss watchmaker Hublot, according to a report by AFP.The white-gold watch was revealed this week at the world's biggest watch show, Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show in Basel, Switzerland.According to the AFP report, it took 17 people at Hublot 14 months to set the more than 140 carats of diamonds on the watch.
