This new war film from executive producer George Lucas is based on the true story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first black pilots to fly in a US combat squadron during World War II. It is the first movie to come out from the Lucasfilm production company - other than "Indiana Jones" or "Star Wars" movies - since "Radioland Murders" in 1994. The director is Anthony Hemingway, noted for his TV work on shows like "CSI: NY" and "The Wire."
