Our newspapers and online news articles are splattered with pictures of world leaders on a daily basis. We see them in solemn and gracious poses even when they are in the middle of an action or speech. This is because only the best photographs are used in the media when showing important world leaders. It would not do to make fun of them in mass media, would it? And so, funny pictures never make it to controlled mass media. That is why we say, Thank God for the Internet. The internet can afford to be subversive and people can do what they like without fear of authority. Hence, we get a glimpse of funny pictures taken of global leaders like George Bush, Obama, Joe Biden, Gordon Brown, Bill Clinton, Vladimir Putin, Nicolas Sarkozy and Dmitry Medvedev among others. Pictures also include Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama and David Cameron.
